Palawan Day 02

Happy Valentine's Day to all especially to my Raven!

Finally I have transferred the pics from the camera to the pc, so at least that task is moving.

As a Valentine's gift to Raven, I am posting the highlights of our Palawan Trip - Day 02

Day 02 is the PPUR Tour or Puerto Princesa Underground River Tour.

Our Tour Guide was Nelia and our driver was Macky.
We woke up very early, grabbed our packed breakfast from the hotel and left for Sabang Beach.
We stopped somewhere in the middle of the trip to eat our breakfast.
From Sabang Beach we have the boat ride to the  Puerto Princesa Underground River.
The underground river is really great and it deserves to be in the New Wonders List. Our PPUR boatman-slash-guide is funny too.
Because we were kinda bitin in the Sabang Beach (full story not fit for Chartotem Blog) after returning to the city in the afternoon, we hired a tricycle to go a nearby beach (Pristine Beach)
To wrap up the day, we had a dinner date at KaLui

My Holy Week

Palm Sunday.

Attend kme ni Raven ng Mass sa St. Joseph Shrine. Bili rin kme ng palaspas. First time ko visit sa church na to. Unique sya kase dito lang ako nakakita ng mga manang ng simbahan na nag-gaguide sa mga nagsisimba para pumasok sa loob ng simbahan (parang hawi boys, traffic police). Kakaiba kase layout ng simbahan kaya mas ok nga yung naisip nung mga manang. Ito rin ang unang simbahan na me announcement na parang "Govt Warning: Cigarette Smoking is Dangerous to Your Health" ang dating. Nung communion na me nag-announce na "nde daw kumpleto ang pag attend ng mass pag umalis ka pag communion, dapat daw kumpletuhin mo mass".


Maundy Thursday.
Uwi kme ni Raven sa Binan. Attend Thursday mass. Tapos station of the cross with Tatay, Nanay, Kuya Ef, Ate Mylet, Mai at Raven. Route namin is Muntinlupa -> San Pedro ->Pacita -> Binan. Sa Binan 2nd to the last church na visit namin e yung San Vicente Church, big improvement, complete na yun church :). Ang tagal nun bago matapos. Ang naalala ko bf-gf pa lang kme Raven eh under construction na yun.



Good Friday.
Watch Siete Palabras sa TV. Nood rin kme Top 10 Aircraft of all times ng Discovery Channel. Kasama sa Top 10 yung F-117 (SR-117 pa yun dati). Nde na maganda yung ibang plane. Crappy nga kase wala sa Top 10, yung F-15 Eagle saka F-14 Tomcat. Mas gusto pa nila yung WW1 at WW2 planes. Watch ulet kme ng Click sa HBO :)
Kain kme ng dinner sa Le Garden. First time ko na biyernes santo tapos kakain sa labas. Usually kase sa house lang.
Bago makatulog pinanood ko rin yung mpeg ng Correspondents-ZTE/Spratlys issue. Crappy talaga administrasyon ni Ji-Em-Ey (hehe off-topic na yan sa Chartotem's Blog, pero pinag-iisipan ko pa kung gagawa ako ng political raves/rants blog ko)

Black Saturday.
Travel to Quezon.
Visit kme sa Kamay ni Hesus Shrine sa Lucban/Tayabas. Akyat kme sa bundok, parang station of the cross din pala ang setup dun. Try ko upload yung pic pag marunong na ako ng flicker at imagebucket na yun.
Kain kme sa Kamayan sa Palaisdaan. Kahit na matagal ang food, super busog naman kme. Sabi nga ni Parouk "pag yung tyan mo saka yung noo mo magkasing-tigas na, ibig sabihin nun busog ka na :)"
Dumaan rin kme ng Graceland.
Diretso na kme ng quezon, tapos sila nanay at tatay uwi na sila ng laguna
Meet namin sa daan si potpot at meymey. Laki na ni Pots.
Nagbrown-out kaya medyo mahaba kwentuhan namin nila Mama.

Easter Sunday.
Dapat mag-papalinis lang ako ng ngipin, pero pagkatapos linis, check ni Ate Cielo na me sira na daw isang molar kelangan pastaan, kaya nung hapon nagpapasta na rin ako.
Installan ko rin pc ni Rakki ng webcam at pccillin (hehe TIS16. meron itong Parental Control at ibig sabihin nito ay filtered na ang ... hehe)
Dinner kme kila Ate Lan at Kuya Anjie. Konti lang kain ko kase nga yung pasta.
Nde natuloy gimik namin ni Wino. Next time na lang bro.

Easter Monday.
Travel back to Manila.
Late lunch sa Max.
Sira pa rin ang SLEX.
Dinner sa Binan.
Hayyyz, welcome back to office na naman bukas...

Happy ako sa holy week ko. Refreshed. Walang distraction from office. Enjoyed time together with Raven and the whole family. I hope happy rin si Raven. Love you moms :*

Cebu: January 2007

To celebrate our first year anniversary, Maui and I went to Cebu. It was an adventurous trip. The city was busy preparing for the APEC Summit and the sinulog festival. We visited the Magellan's Cross, Basilica de Santo Niño, Magellan's Marker and Lapu Lapu Monument. We ate lunch in Sutukil near Magellan marker, super busog kame, para syang dampa, turo mo lang yung mga isda at seafood na gusto mo, sabihin mo kung anong luto then dyarannn... fiesta. We also had some great ice cream in Shangri-la Mactan. We brought home some nice danggit, dried mangoes and lechon cebu.

Start na kme ng plan na namin kung san kame punta next year...
